Modified starches made from potato starch
Modified starches based on potato starch are our speciality. They start from our own potato starch from the Highlands.
Potato starch offers high thickening power, a clear paste and neutral taste and odour. Modification adds what your application needs: tolerance to heat and acidity, stability in storage and freezing, cold thickening, or a cationic charge for papermaking.

From Highland potatoes
The Bohemian Moravian Highlands are a traditional potato growing and potato starch region. The first starch plants were founded here.
Being close to growers gives us access to quality raw material. We process potatoes at two plants, Pelhřimov and Chýnov. Our native starches are made mechanically, by physical processes and without chemicals.
